As you might imagine, we love Halloween here at Everybody’s Invited. Parties, costumes, decorations… it’s pretty much our perfect holiday!

We’ve been pinning some creative ideas for Halloween theme parties for adults. These parties go beyond the typical Halloween costume party by taking a concept or theme from a TV show, movie, game, etc. and bringing it to life.

This Clue party looks so cute! I’m not exactly sure how it was executed, but it would be a great way to get guests involved in a murder mystery-style activity. Was it Colonel Mustard in the billiards room with the candlestick, or Mrs. Peacock in the study with the wrench?

We’ve seen Alice in Wonderland birthday parties and weddings, but it would also be a great theme for a Halloween party. Even though it’s not a particularly original idea, I love that there are so many creative interpretations on this theme. I think people really tap into their childhood imaginations with Alice in Wonderland parties, which is what we’re all about here at Everybody’s Invited!

Ever since seeing Hitchcock’s The Birds, I’ve been pretty creeped out by our not-so-friendly flying friends (especially those of the black, beady-eyed variety). This Hitchcock Halloween party has some great decor ideas and free printables.

Dexter! One of my favorite TV shows. I actually had to stop watching it before bed because it was giving me weird dreams! It would make a bloody good Halloween party theme.

Are you planning or attending a Halloween party this year? What’s the theme?

I personally would love to see someone turn Plan 9 From Outer Space (a truly awful horror film from 1959) into a theme party. So bad, yet so good.
